Childrens Drawing and Painting:

Wednesdays, August 4 - August 25(4 sessions)
5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Ages 7 - 14 • $80

This session will focus on drawing and painting realistic trees. As children transition from drawing from their imagination to trying to achieve realism, they often are not sure how to start to draw what they see in front of them. This session will focus on how to get started in drawing from photos of real objects.

Each child will create a large painting depicting "A day in the life of..." themselves. In a mural style similar to Diego Rivera the children will create a scene that describes who they are and what their lives are like. We will start the session with looking at our artist inspiration and creating sketches of what they would like to include in their paintings.

Childrens Pottery:

Wednesdays, May 5 - May 26 (4 sessions)
4 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Ages 6 - 12 • $85

Introduce your child to the wonders and fun of creating in clay. They will learn the traditional hand building techniques while expressing themselves.

The first three classes will be discovering the coiling, slab building and sculpture. Each child will create a functional piece, a sculptural piece and something of their own imagination.

Each time the child joins this class they will be given a more complex project to complete.

The last class will be glazing their finished pieces. They will be ready to pick up the following week.
